Today’s slate is filled with almost every ace in the game. With so many elite options there should be very little overlap tonight. The hardest question will be deciding on which gun to pay up for, or to find the value play of the day.
Z. Greinke is averaging 9.74 K/9, and facing a Rockies team that was only able to score 1 run on the road last night. The Dodgers are favored to win a low scoring game.
Y. Darvish boast huge 10.65 K/9 rate while only allowing a HR every other game. He has the lowest FIP of any pitcher tonight at 2.5. It will be tough to keep him out of my lineup tonight.
E. Santana and J. Samardzija are two cheaper options that should hit value if you do not want to spend the money on the top tier guys.

Selecting the correct pitcher will increase your odds of finishing in the money more than any other position in the lineup. They are capable of providing two and three times the number of points of the other batting positions. This is why they occupy such a large percentage of the cap. start by finding a pitcher that you are comfortable with winning the game. Then I like to research the pitchers stats to determine which pitchers are capable of providing to most strikeouts and giving up the fewest runs. Many times it is not the most expensive ace that can provide the value needed at this position.
The two highest priced pitchers, Julio Teheran and Cole Hamels, face off against each other tonight. Hamels enters this game averaging 9.36 K/9, and Teheran is projected to get the win in a low scoring game.
The value play of the day may be Jake Odorizzi. He is averaging 10.5 K/9 while getting the slight edge to come away with the win over Baltimore.

Lineup Tool- Once you have determined the pitcher and hitters that you want to play, the tool will fill in the other gaps with a combination of players that will provide the most fantasy points with the salary left. The tool will provide information for each player such as the over/under for the game, the weather, and if a certain player is in the starting lineup on a given night. Manually selecting a player allows you to place a player already targeted, or to select a possible position to punt. A low salary player in the starting lineup will allow to tool to use the available cap space at other positions. The tool provides the ability to choose if the players it selects are based off of season long stats, the last 15 game, last game, or value stats. Value option bases the the number of points a player provides for the amount spent. The 15 game option provides players that have recently provided fantasy production.
