As we are comfortably past the midpoint of the season I decided to take a look at the top performers from that point in the season. Giancarlo Stanton immediately stands out with 10 HR and an ISO of .402 with a wOBA of .443 since the break. Chris Carter is right behind him with 9 dongs, ISO of .386, and wOBA of .453. These two batters are about 90 points ahead of third place, Brett Gardner, in the ISO statistic. A couple pitchers that stand out are Corey Kluber and Cole Hamels. Both have an ERA below 1.00 and have struck out over a better per inning.

Pitchers starting tonight:

Jason Vargas – 9 K/9 and an FIP of .99 for the 2ndhalf of the season.

Jordan Zimmerman – 8.88 K/9 and xFIP of 2.42 2ndhalf of season.

I like Carter's production. Tango would be proud to see you referencing the wOBA! It's a great stat that ISO sometimes does not fully reflect.
